I've been roasting coffee for more than 10 years and and for the last 4 I have been roasting on Ken's roaster. A great roaster for the small farmer with a 10 pound batch size, giving uniform perfect roasts every time. Because it is open and you can observe the coffee while it roasts, it makes it very easy to precisely achieve the desired roast level from light to dark. The cooling box lets you roast continuously because as one batch is cooling, you can be roasting the next batch. Simply, I love it and would use no other. Bob Smith

I have been using the roaster for three years now. It produces a perfectly even and consistent roast and enables me to "roast on demand" which is very important for my business. Charlie Brown
Thanks for all you do. I wouldn’t be in business without you.

We promptly roast the fresh green beans with our own commercial roaster locally designed by a Kona coffee farmer. Other roasters may be more expensive but this one works perfectly
for our Kona Coffee each and every time, day in day out: it fits our Kona Coffee like a hand in a glove. Michael Tucker
The ability to roast coffee as orders are received assures our customers of the freshest coffee. We bought our ASHE coffee roaster in 2006 and have been using it steadily ever since with perfect roasts and no problems. Our roasted coffee has won awards and part of the credit has to go to the ASHE roaster for its consistency. Thanks to Ken Sheppard for designing the roaster and making it available to Kona coffee farmers. Clare Wilson See a photo of Clare Wilson roasting coffee on the ASHE roaster....

We have the original ASHE roaster, built in 2004 and still going strong! It has roasted many tons of coffee, and the results are always perfect. We particularly appreciate being able to roast smaller batches (5 lb-10lb) reliably so that we can do custom roasts for our clients.
